A Lovely L'Occitane Christmas

Since L'Occitane has been a go-to gift brand for me for so many years, I decided to compile a list of their all time best selling products as a Christmas Gift suggestion list for anyone in your life, young or old, male or female, that you think deserves a bit of a pampering this Christmas!

Whenever I am buying someone a gift and I want them to really feel pampered I go to L'Occitane first each time. I've been doing this for years. At one point I realised I had bought so much L'Occitane but rarely got to get it for myself so I started getting a little treat here and there and soon friends started gifting me with various products from the brand too.

It is such a great destination for a gift for men and women; the men's products are actually some of the nicest quality and most gorgeous smelling I've ever come across so it's definitely worth a visit when Christmas shopping this year; whether you're getting something for your mum, your husband or your best friend!

Since L'Occitane has so many gorgeous products, here's my rundown of my favourite and which ones I think make excellent Christmas gifts, along with their Arlésienne collection which I wrote about recently here: http://penelopesbed.blogspot.ie/2014/12/provincial-christmas-collection.html

Lavande Foaming Bath

L'Occitanne are known for ethically sourcing their produce and investing in the farms where different materials for their products are grown and their Lavende collection is no exception and this Lavande Foaming Bath is one of the most pampering products out there for someone you know who has had a busy stressful year and needs a bit of relaxation over the holidays. A L'Occitane classic!

5 Essential Oils Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner

If you are a regular reader of Penelope's Bed you'll know what a big fan I am of these 5 Essential Oils Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner. What they do to your hair makes it really feel like you've had a fresh trim and what I've noticed is how soft and silky your hairs becomes after using these. I have not been able to stop using this combo since I discovered them and the pair together or individually make such a great treat for anyone who might feel a bit guilty about spending above average money on hair care. I was until I found these. Full review here: http://penelopesbed.blogspot.ie/2014/09/hair-today-loccitane-5-essential-oils.html

Almond Shower Oil

I had heard so many rave reviews of this Almond Shower Oil and, although I really wanted to try it, I thought how different could a shower gel be? The answer is very different and this is no shower gel. Another big recommendation for your Christmas gift list because whoever you give this to will be forever in your debt. The smell for starters is just about the nicest I've ever come across but the oil itself, which you lather directly into your damp skin in the shower - don't do what I did and pour it onto a cloth or scrub and waste it! - massage into your skin and then you'll realise this is basically the happy medium between shower gel and body oil or lotion and it is very good indeed. I want ten for Christmas!

Shea Butter Hand Cream and Foot Cream

The beauty product I have been buying for the longest time ever without ever changing my mind, 20 % Shea Butter Hand Lotion is an all time classic and always a great gift. Celebrating 20 years of consistently being one of the brand's all time favourite products there's a reason customers keep coming back to this. The 20% Shea Butter makes this so softening and smoothing on your hands and the light scent is so relaxing. The 15% Shea Butter Foot Cream is another classic. Let's face it, feet are not the most glamorous part of your body but, especially in weather extremes like the cold now and the big heat during the summer, moisturising your feet with this creamy, gorgeous smelling cream seems like the least you can do for the two things keeping you standing and walking every day.

Great gifts to give together or separately.

Imortelle Divine Cream

Finally, a present for the mum. L'Occitane's Imortelle Divine Cream is something special. Geared toward slightly aging skin, this moisturiser is the richest, most luxurious I've ever tried and, once more for L'Occitane, it smells divine like the name suggest. It's quite a Creme de La Mer style but although it is a little pricey, It's nothing on CDLM prices and causes such a noticeable difference to your skin!

An ideal gift for any over 40 ladies on your Christmas list that deserve a little something special or are in badly in need of some pampering! You can't go too far wrong with any of these. Then prepare to be hugged appreciatively!
